The life of a 22-year-old post grad, Florida native, trying to figure out her place in the world. Lover of fashion, sunglasses, journalism, social media and public relations. Oh, and her Bengal cats.

I’m a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Fla. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with a Public Relations concentration, and a Journalism minor. My passions include feature writing and social media marketing. My experiences with reporting as a freelance journalist for Naples Daily News, and intern experience in both the magazine and PR industry have provided a good foundation for my field of work. I specialize in writing, managing social media and creating an online presence. Currently, I work as a marketing assistant at Sirata Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach.

  4. Phoebe,
Just came across your blog while lookingaround. You seem like a very cool person. Keep it up with the photography!

I’m new to this thing and trying to find more “blogging friends.” Would you mind checking out my page and telling me what you think? Thanks! (:

  6. Thanks for subscribing! I’m going to school for broadcasting and then going to graduate school for mass communications so its great to meet other journalists out there!

  7. Hey Phoebe,
I’d love to chat social media and public relations with you at some point. I practice and teach PR and I am a tad (well maybe more than a tad) slow on engaging social media with PR even though everyone else swears the two are inseparable. I get it, I do, but I am very grassroots and organic about PR and advocacy and I find that the online persona is so different from the real and it begs the question of credibility for me.
Anyway, that’s not why I’m reaching out. I love your blog –you gave a shout out to your bengals, but not your dog in the banner pic 😦 –I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award; perhaps you’d want to accept it here: http://thetosinteatime.com/2012/06/28/blogging-aint-easy/
    Stay refreshing.
